Woody's Shutters fight against climate change and deforestation
In the attempt to prevent climate change, Woody's shutters has set up its own plant a tree project along with ensuring that all wood is ethically sourced so that our trade does not negatively impact the environment. Our sustainable material sources have been vetted by the Forest Stewardship Council.
How does the Plant Trees Project Work?
For every order, Woody's will plant 3 trees
Your Trees will
Prevent soil erosion and reduce flooding
Tree roots increase the stability of the soil and helps to stop flooding.
Protect Biodiversity
80% of biodiversity lives in forests and woodlands.
Absorb Co2
Every tree absorbs 2 tonnes of Co2 in a lifetime, helping slow climate change.
ETHICS
At Woody's shutters, we've always traded ethically. We've found sustainable sources for our hardwood and work with the Forest Stewardship Council to ensure that our trade does not negatively impact the environment.
